A not-for-profit, community-based health system serving Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio with more than 10,000 employees.


Challenge: Parkview’s website was not living up to the quality of care and excellence that the brand promised to consumers.  

  • Provide a new website design and improved user experience across all devices 
  • Reflect the approach and technologies used in key service lines such as Cancer and Heart, while still representing the systemwide reach of Parkview Health’s community hospital and provider practices 

Approach: For the relaunch, MERGE Atlanta developed a website that provides a modular content approach, built on a “fluid” responsive framework that ensures a consistent and highly usable experience.  

  • Provided an updated design and user experience that creates a fully mobile-responsive presentation of a unified website that represented previously detached entities such as Parkview Physicians Group and the “Dashboard” blog 
  • Provided original content, key messaging, and key word research for service lines and an updated information architecture
  • Integrated with a third-party listing management (SIM Partners) to create a single source of truth for provider and location data in the Parkview digital properties and throughout the web at large 
    • Programmed a unique data model that utilizes an API integration with the organization’s listing management software to synchronize data in the provider directory and location tools 
    • Leveraged capabilities of the native CMS Provider Directory and Locations tools to provide dynamically related provider and locations results throughout the website
